About the unit The emergency department at Ludington Hospital features sixteen state-of-the-art treatment areas, including two trauma rooms. We are able to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients and emergency procedures. In addition, we have developed transfer agreements, including emergency helicopter transport services, for patients requiring more comprehensive care at a Level I or Level II trauma center. Ludington Hospital also features “FastER Track” emergency department care for patients with minor illnesses and injuries.
