Description The University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Division of Physiatry, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a neuromuscular physiatrist to join our faculty. This will be a full-time academic appointment. This position will be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank on the Clinical Practice track. In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 .
