Our Transportation Operations department is currently in search of an Auto Mechanic B L1-2. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse range of company vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to, cars, vans, and trucks, as well as various types of equipment. The role demands a thorough understanding of automotive systems, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Core Responsibilities: - Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of various vehicle systems and hands-on experience to successfully repair systems such as drive trains, hydraulics, and coolant systems. - Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks which include but are not limited to pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs, extensive walking, climbing, standing, driving, and working in, under, and on top of all types of vehicles and equipment. - Candidates must possess a CDL A license or have the ability to obtain one within a 12-month period. - Must be able to obtain applicable certificates of fitness from the NYC Fire Department and a New York State DMV Inspectors Certification...
