GENERAL SUMMARY: The Dearborn Trauma/SICU team is a highly collaborative and supportive group of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Physicians dedicated to delivering exceptional care to injured and critically ill patients. As a Level II Trauma Center, the Dearborn campus manages a wide range of traumatic injuries and acute critical illnesses while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and excellent patient outcomes. APPs on this service are trained to manage patients from door to discharge, providing comprehensive trauma and surgical critical care across the continuum. The team offers meaningful educational and clinical training opportunities for APPs interested in bedside procedures, point‑of‑care ultrasound, and rapid assessment and management of critically injured patients.
