YOUR CHALLENGE: As Team Lead Accounting at Blacklane, you’ll be the backbone of our financial integrity, leading a high-performing team to keep our global numbers accurate, reliable, and ready for fast decision-making as we grow. - You will lead and coach a team of accountants and senior accountants, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - You will own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate reporting across all Blacklane entities. - You will manage the general ledger and core accounting operations (journals, reconciliations, intercompany, accruals, provisions) so our financial data is clean, consistent, and audit-ready. - You will design, maintain, and improve accounting policies, controls, and documentation to ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal standards. - You will partner closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Finance Operations and other teams to align accounting treatment with business reality and support planning and performance analysis. - You will coordinate with external auditors and advisors, preparing audit files and leading responses to ensure smooth statutory and group audits...
