Civil Engineer Department: Civil: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Victor, New York: Reporting To: Christopher Kambar: Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 / year Description: APD seeks a passionate professional with experience owning projects from beginning to end and collaborating with team members of varying disciplines and experience levels. The position offers involvement in all project phases and professional advancement in a team-oriented, dynamic culture. In this position, the candidate will work directly with Project Managers, Architects, and other Site/Civil engineers to assist in developing construction documents for various projects in multi-site markets. Key Responsibilities: - Review and interpret surveys and engineering reports (geotechnical, environmental, wetlands, traffic, etc.) for use in site design. - Heavy ACAD usage to prepare concept site plans and site plan sets (erosion control, demolition, site layout, grading, storm drainage, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and details) - Stormwater design and permitting in multiple states. - Zoning code reviews. - Municipal and agency permitting and attendance of meetings. - Coordination with utility companies and re...
