THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties: 1. Works closely with Operations, Technical Services and key suppliers on projects to understand requirements, develop and submit Request for Proposals (RFP's), evaluate proposals based on best value criteria as developed with stakeholders, submit recommendations for award, lead vendor negotiations, assist with contract development, develop material usage forecasts, coordinate delivery schedules, expedite shipments, and proactively communicate to all parties. 2. Works with Sourcing staff to understand and sets performance measures for key suppliers and meets periodically with key suppliers and stakeholders to review performance, identify/resolve issues and develop cost savings initiatives. 3. Coordinates investment recovery activities through identification of surplus inventory and non-book assets which are not being fully utilized. Works closely with local operations and the Procurement group to dispose of assets with maximum return on investment. 4.
