Job Description The Sr. Category Leadership Manager – Ahold Delhaize will be responsible for facilitating strategic category leadership initiatives with the Ahold Delhaize customer. This position supports the overall application of category management principles to business issues by identifying category business opportunities and assessing merchandising controllables, including shelf, assortment, innovation, and aisle strategy. The role also coordinates information and category management–related activities conducted in conjunction with the Customer Business Development team and the sales team. The Sr. Category Leadership Manager is a storytelling expert, highly skilled in the use of analytical tools, who combines disparate data and insights into a comprehensive, visually impactful story and can complete the category review process with very limited supervision.
