Hourly Pay Range: $30.46 - $45.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Location: Glenbrook Hospital - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:30pm-7am, e/o weekend and rotating holidays What you will do: - Evaluate and interpret laboratory test results, recording and reporting findings accurately - Process and prepare blood components such as red blood cells, platelets, and plasma for transfusions, following standard operating procedures - Conduct antibody screening and compatibility testing on blood samples, using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques - Maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies in good working condition, troubleshooting issues as needed - Ensure proper inventory management of blood products by monitoring expiration dates and maintaining appropriate stock levels - Adhere to quality control and quality assurance processes, performing routine checks and participating in proficiency testing - Performs routine processing and cryopreservation of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC) according to...
