The position is responsible for the development and implementation of infection management-related initiatives , which may include presentations, training, reporting, and surveillance . Infection management and prevention are among the top clinical initiatives across the village, aimed at reducing hospitalization and mortality while promoting patient safety. The position acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in infection clinical outcomes , safety, and removes barriers to performance, and leads or supports special projects. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills that include collaboration and partnership with subject matter experts as well as operational support, product , reporting teams, and OCMO/clinical services.
