Summary The Intern will participate in the LitMed Health AI Development Program, a structured, hands-on internship designed for graduate-level students interested in healthcare artificial intelligence. Under direct mentorship from LitMed Health’s Chief Technology Officer, the intern will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of production-grade AI systems used in real-world healthcare environments. This role offers practical experience working with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and healthcare data standards, with a strong emphasis on AI safety, data privacy, and clinical relevance. This position is part‑time, requiring approximately 10 hours per week during standard working hours . The position is based in Houston, Texas and is not eligible for benefits .
