JOB SUMMARY: The Router Room Operator II will produce aircraft parts using shop tools, and standard aircraft materials at or above the expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost, using engineering and industrial definitions, procedures and guidelines that support the delivery to the aircraft for all aircraft models. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): - Learn one (1) CNC machine below with emphasis on quality, consistency and safety - 3 axis single table start-up / shut down - Gerber machine - Work with 2D/3D data, company standards, work instructions, and perform necessary calculations using math to complete tasks related to making aircraft parts - Responsible for insert installation/preparation, edgefill application, panel skin repair, foam taping or fabricating burn coupons depending on Router Room assignment - Select and verify materials from stock to manufacture parts and maintain traceability of materials per process - Promptly inform team leader and maintenance of any unplanned machine down time (edgefill and insert laser) - Perform quality and self-checks of...
