Meta Data Manager

Job description

We are seeking a highly experience Metadata Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing M&S's metadata strategy and tooling. You will work closely with Data Owners & Stewards, Product Manager, Engineers, Analysts and wider business stakeholders to ensure metadata is properly captured, maintained and utilised to support data quality, regulatory compliance and the M&S Data & AI strategy. Who you are: - Solid experience in a metadata management, technical data governance or related roles - Proven experience designing and implementing metadata management standards and solutions - Experience within implementation of data management strategies and technologies - Experience working collaboratively with other functional teams, from product to technology, finance, risk and legal - Proven experience designing, starting and implementing large-scale change around data management and cataloguing solutions What you will do: - Develop and maintain a metadata strategy aligned to the M&S data management framework - Build and manage a central metadata repository in Alation - Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Managers and Platform teams to capture technical, business and ope...
