Job description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients and facilitating rehabilitation and independence. Develops and designs treatment plans for physically, mentally and/or emotionally disabled patients. Occupational Therapists enable, enhance and improve patients ability to gain independent, productive daily living and working environments. Requirements: - Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital settings to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems. - Evaluates and establishes patients' physical and mental learning abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic attainable rehabilitation goals within scope of patient’s disability. - Selects educational, recreational and social activities that will help individuals learn work and life-management skills within limits of their mental and physical capabilities. - Evaluates patients' progress and prepare reports that detail progress. - Documents therapy activities and maintains necessary records in patient files, assist in the evaluations and rehabilitation of assigned patient’s medical/psychiatric conditions by...
