Description The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join Fred Hutch’s Cancer Survivorship Program and help grow its research portfolio. The overall mission of the interdisciplinary Survivorship Program is to enhance the care of cancer survivors by 1) rigorous research with national and international impact, 2) provision of outstanding clinical care, and 3) education and outreach. Survivorship focuses on the health and well-being of a person with cancer from the time of diagnosis until the end of life. This includes the physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial effects of cancer that begin at diagnosis and continue through treatment and beyond. Candidates with PhD, MD/DO, or equivalent are encouraged to apply – this includes but is not limited to those with training in medical oncology or psychology and biobehavioral sciences. The position is on the faculty/physician scientist (i.e., primarily research) pathway.
