NOTE: Specifically hiring instructors with expertise in surfboard shaping. Definition and Purpose: Under the supervision of the Coordinator I – Craft Center, Craft Center Intermittent Instructors teach craft classes in the ASI Craft Center in one or more of the following areas: ceramics (wheel throwing), ceramics (hand building), bike repair, block printing, fiber arts (crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, macrame), stained glass, jewelry making, leatherworking, surfboard shaping, or painting. The Instructor is responsible for developing class content, supervising class participants, and leading instructional sessions.
