Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Academic Advisor I - Boca Raton, FL. The Academic Advisor I provides comprehensive advising and onboarding support for transfer students, serving as a single point of contact from deposit through first-term registration. This role collaborates closely with college advising offices and University Advising Services to support student transition, registration, and retention; utilizes advising technologies and analytics to track student progress; assists students in navigating academic requirements and university resources across multiple campuses; and contributes to transfer student programming, outreach, and onboarding initiatives.
