Job Description: PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for working closely with mortgage management and staff to determine gaps, create efficiencies, design and implement solutions. Monitors and ensures first mortgage projects as they relate to process improvement, regulatory changes and mortgage technology are completed on time and efficiently. Works closely with the VP Mortgage Lending, mortgage management, and the Mortgage Initiative & Support team to help create and support overall strategy, identify and implement necessary updates/enhancements to the technology systems; review and implement origination process improvements; and facilitate requirements gathering sessions to make processes fast, efficient, and easy to comprehend. Partners with all other areas of the credit union to provide insight and subject matter expertise related to the mortgage process. Oversees timely responses to all compliance/internal/external audit requests and is responsible for ensuring all policy and procedures, communications and documentation for the department is current/accurate.
