Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of safe machine operation in area of assigned responsibility including movement of finished product. Schedule is a 12-hour shift, 4 days on then 4 days off. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Randomly check parts produced every hour, to ensure that customer specifications are met. - Places parts in specified relationship to each other. - Monitors flow of parts into assembling machinery, secondary equipment, and storage containers. - Tends machines, such as presses and crystallized which perform in molding area, according to machine (product) standard. - Works at different work stations as production needs require. - Works on line where tasks vary, as parts of various sizes and shapes move along the line. - Assists in training new operators as needed. - Check all finished parts for any possible defects (including grease, flash, punctures, and other defects). - Completes daily report of parts produced and any scrap parts which resulted. - Notifies Lead Person, Mold/injection Technician and/or Production Supervisor whenever items produced do not meet quality requirements, or...
