Job description
Chemonics seeks an Operations Manager to support the Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM will be the primary vehicle through which the US government will 1) procure and provide health commodities, 2) provide system support to improve partner countries’ management of the supply chain, and 3) collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. The Operations Manager collaborates with the GHSC-PSM headquarters (HQ) Operations Director and members of the Leadership Team in the efficient and effective operations of GHSC-PSM HQ activities, consistent with sound management principles and Chemonics’ policies and standards. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - Collaborates with GHSC-PSM HQ teams to prepare and review time-sensitive client correspondence, approval requests, technical and financial reports, presentations, responses to data calls, and other documents. - Manages recruitment and onboarding of new staff, coordinates formal annual performance assessment process for current staff, and provides personnel support across teams. - Manages GHSC-PSM HQ subcontracts a...
