Job description

GFL Bowmanville is looking for industrial technicians to support the liquids line of business! Key Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day monitoring or assigned project. Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment and Industrial Services Shop. Power washing and High Pressure Water blasting as required. Line snaking, Drain and Pipe Inspections as required. Industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous wastes. Assist on Vacuum Trucks/plant operations as required. Confined Space Entry/ Rescue as required for Industrial Services Projects. Working in tight or cramped spaces. Working while using Respirator or Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus. Shoveling, Jack Hammering, Squeegee, Scraping and heavy lifting as required. Operate Pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator, bobcat, etc. Operate Aerial boom lift/Scissor Lift as required. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Must have a G class license at minimum. Must be willing to be clean shaven. Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, days, evenings, nights & possibly weekends or holidays. 2-5 years’ experience in Industrial Cleaning and Maintenance strongly preferred.
