Job description

Job Summary: The Safety Professional II, under supervision, assists in developing, implementing, and auditing safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance. Supports safety programs across locations, assists other safety professionals, and promotes a strong safety culture by advising field employees, management, and customers on safety and injury prevention. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate training in-person, virtually, or as an e-learning in collaboration with the Training Dept. Train field leaders on their responsibilities in safety protocols, programs, and hazard identification. Assist in incident management by tracking follow-ups and communicating as needed. Ensure proper documentation is obtained in a timely manner, and that work-related injuries are managed appropriately. Assist in developing and communicating site-specific safety plans and review to ensure the plan meets all customer requirements. Additionally, conduct field engagements to ensure the site is adhering to the site-specific safety plan. Respond to a safety incident in support and consultation.
