Senior Engineer - Controls and Automation

Job description

Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, you will provide electrical and controls engineering support for the Darien, Wisconsin manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with manufacturing standards and control philosophies. You will partner closely with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and corporate teams to improve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity across one of Conagra Brands’ largest operations. This is an onsite role at our plant in Darien, Wisconsin. A Taste of Your Responsibilities: Provide technical support to operating and maintenance teams by troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to programmable logic controller and human machine interface systems. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, reduce customer complaints, and ensure compliance with Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture regulations. Identify and correct unsafe conditions to improve employee safety and health and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
