Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Position (0.7 FTE) Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team. This night position plays a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents during overnight hours. Position Details: - FTE: 0.7 - Shift: Nights - Hours: 23:00 – 07:15 Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and policies - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor, assess, and document residents’ health status and report changes - Respond to overnight needs, emergencies, and resident concerns - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care - Support and guide Health Care Aides (HCAs) during the shift - Ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment for residents - Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualifications: - Current registration and in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (e.g., CLPNA in Alberta) - Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program - Current CPR/First Aid certification Experience & Skills: - Experience in lo...
