Description SUMMARY: Interacts with the Planning Manager to help plan material requirements and scheduling in order to meet delivery commitments to our customers. Interfaces with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance and Supply Chain departments. Schedules and releases sub assembly jobs to manufacturing, kitting orders for projects, subassemblies and others to the warehouse, helps configuration team with job creation as needed. Act as an effective and positive change agent, to recommend, and as appropriate, lead the implementation of such methodologies within the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Planning: · Releases kitting projects to Stockroom, for assemblies (project, SA, kits) to include MOD work orders, rework orders and return (RA) purchase orders to meet latest revision/system requirements and as per schedule · Reviews minimum on hand quantities and minimum order quantities to balance customer service levels and on hand inventory dollars. · Works with manufacturing and purchasing to reduce lead time for all products. · Monitors total raw and consignment inventory and drives inventory reduction activities. · Monito...
