Description The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Teacher to join our Early Learning team in the Infant Room ! Candidates must be energetic and highly motivated with strong communication skills . Please note that this is not a summer seasonal position - we are looking for a permanent employee who can also work throughout the school year. The Assistant Teacher works together with the Head Teacher while implementing planned activities and curriculum to promote youth development, social responsibility and healthy living. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible with their schedule, has experience working with infants and has a genuine interest in teaching/education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Pay : $17.00-$20.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
