Position: Director, Library Services Department: Academic Affairs: Type of Position: Full-time Salaried: Exemption Status: Exempt: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No: Starting Salary Range: $73,109-$96,115 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume. Position Summary: Provides direction and oversight of library services. Work with faculty and staff to support the current usage and future planning for the library program. First-level manager. Manages the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Required Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited graduate program. - 10 years of library experience. - Five years of professional experience in an academic library that demonstrates a broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.
