Job Title: Lab Analyst II or III Reports to: Lab Department Supervisor, Lab Department Manager Job Summary: The Laboratory Analyst II /III is a mid-level analyst position responsible for independently performing complex laboratory tasks, supporting junior staff, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of analytical workflows. This role includes preparing advanced reagents, calibrating and maintaining instruments, troubleshooting issues, and guiding others in documentation and analysis. The Lab Analyst II demonstrates a solid understanding of laboratory methods, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, contributing to investigations and continuous improvement efforts. Duties/Responsibilities: - Independently manage laboratory documentation and assist junior staff with proper recordkeeping. - Prepare complex standards and reagents in accordance with SOPs. - Calibrate instrumentation and perform routine maintenance independently; conduct basic troubleshooting. - Set up and load instruments for analysis with minimal oversight. - Analyze samples and ensure accurate flagging and narrative documentation; guide others in these practices. - Track sample progress, ensure timely compl...
