Job description

Job Objective: The Corps Ministry Aide will participate in the holistic ministry and mission of The Salvation Army Southland Corps . This may require adjustments to current duties and responsibilities as Corps objectives are implemented, and/or programming needs and priorities change. Essential Functions: - Participate in worship and Christian education programs (Sunday School, Bible Studies, Corps Cadets, Small Groups, etc.) including planning, leading meetings, preaching, teaching, and supporting others in those roles - Participate in development, implementation and coordination of corps programming, worship arts, music programs, special programming (VBS, Day Camps, Outreaches) , Character Building and Leadership Training for corps members as assigned - Participat e in the development and implementation of Corps vision objectives , community center, and social ministries - Participat e in coordinat i on and implement ation of seasonal programs including Christmas, Summer Camping Program, and other special event s - Represent the Army at community events including, but not limited to , s ervice c lubs, c ommittee participation, school functions, and Ministerial Associations - Part...
