Job description

General Description: - Support Engineering during launches on product specifications. - Enter in full labor when tooling arrives to plant and when SOP (start of production) starts. - Communicate optimizations, changes between Process, Mfgr, etc. - Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes related to product launch in industrial plant. - Coordinate product engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet customer’s timeline of launch programs. - Attend gate reviews and maintain reporting of launch phase activities. - Develops and evaluates manufacturing capacity, and methods, used for new product launch including quoting, managing engineering and process changes with plant departments, tracking the programs profitability, and being an active participant in cost save development and implementation. Education: Experience : - Proficient in CAD software - Project Life Cycle Management: Lead project elements including design, quality planning, manufacturing, and validation. - Design and Development: Coordinate technical activities, including protype testing, feasibility studies, and cost analysis. - Issue Resolution: Lead root-cause for technical issues during development, usin...
