Description This position is expected to be a field assignment in the southern region of the United States. The location of the assignment can vary depending on the job and/or client. We do offer per diem for those that qualify. Position Overview: The Project Controls Construction Specialist provides oversite and coordination of project scheduling, cost control, change management, and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies by developing internal training tools, coaching Project Managers, auditing deliverables, and defining service requirements for engineering and construction contracts. Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee project scheduling, progress tracking, and cost estimating - Implement client cost control processes developing and monitor an effective system of program/project cost controls for the CM task order and construction contract - Assists in coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities in conjunction with overall project schedule requirements. - Accountable for the scheduling standards, for compiling baseline schedules for construction projects - Responsible for tracking all project/program funding sources, including SOWs and external contra...
