Responsibilities of the Maintenance 3 position include, but are not limited to: Carmeuse offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that may include medical, dental, life, disability, vacation, holiday, and 401(k) savings plan, depending on your work location. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED. Millwright certification program is offered to all Maintenance 3 employees who want to voluntarily accept the education opportunity. It is a 4-year self-paced certification program that is of no cost to the employee and carries a 4-year work commitment post completion. Additionally, there is a hourly pay rate increase for each year completed during the program. - Weekly execution of Preventative Maintenance equipment inspections and repairs. - Daily repair and rebuild work (both scheduled and reactive when necessary). - Daily visual inspection of equipment such as crushing equipment, kiln equipment, hydrator equipment, packaging equipment, belts, conveyors, screws, elevator, scales, dust collectors, fines, dust bins, product bins, and mobile equipment. - Perform assigned kiln outage work including refractory work, fabrication of process parts, welding re...
