GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: - Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills. - Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and technical aspects of program changes needed for each project. - Develop, test, and maintain RPGLE/CLLE/SQL programs and software applications for all ERP functional areas. - Excellent troubleshooting abilities, coupled with analytical and debugging skills necessary to analyze issues reported – to understand user problems and identify root cause (analyze code, debug) and apply appropriate fixes to resolve the issue. - Requires strong organizational skills to be able to work on multiple projects and multiple production issues against strict deadlines. - Provides coaching to junior-level employees. - Requires participating in the on-call rotation to provide assistance during after-hours to support business and operations. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with non-IT personnel at all levels in the business - Maintains all required corporate IT SOX compliance documentation for programming/database activities.
