Linux System Administrator The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure for a federal client. In this role, you will manage and maintain Linux servers such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, ensuring system integrity, performance, availability, and security across enterprise environments. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot server sof tware and services while proactively implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health, availability, performance, and compliance visibility. You will implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, access management, patching, and system hardening to meet federal compliance standards. The role also includes develop ing automation solutions using tools like Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline administration tasks. You will oversee backup and disa ster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and continuity of operations, as well as configure and troubleshoot network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and VPNs.
