Job description

Responsible for providing academic and psychomotor skills education to various students in various facets of basic and advanced life support. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Establishes a professional rapport with students. 2. Collaborates with lead instructor to assure that appropriate level of instruction and content is planned and executed. 3. Coordinates and teaches educational sessions designed to meet the needs of all levels of clinical competence at the BLS and ALS level. 4. Offers verbal and written feedback to the lead instructor, administrative staff, and students on student performance and participation. 5. Acts as a role model in area of expertise and professional practice by being self -directed, self- motivated, maintaining expertise and promoting the emergency medical services system. 6. Facilitates and models development of critical thinking, problem solving and communications skills among the students. 7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant issues, trends, and practices in the area of emergency medical services. 8. Promotes professional self- development 9.
