Job Summary: The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing coaching and player support at practices, events, and tournaments under the direction of the Head Coach. The position is responsible for teaching skills and techniques while modelling and balancing hard work, fun, and discipline at all times consistent with Club goals and mission. Job Responsibilities: Assist and work under the direction of the Head Volleyball Coach in training volleyball teams, including but not limited to: Requirements: - Attend all practices, games, and tournaments for assigned team and model proper strategies for optimal individual skill and team play. - Participate in all assigned practices, games and tournaments to teach proper techniques and fundamentals of volleyball mechanics to players and to provide direction and feedback to players as needed. - Provide guidance to players and ensure players receive adequate support - Provide clear and consistent direction and communication to each player to provide direction and information about the player’s performance and role on the team. - Provide other coaching and team support as requested by the Head Coach, including but not limited to: - Monitor and...
