Site Support Specialist UMGC Asia: Location: Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan: Overseas Contingent III, 75%-Time, Grade 002 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide on-site presence to support classes offered by all universities on base Open and secure building entrances and classrooms Responsible for setting-up UMGC live streaming (LS) equipment prior to LS classes, serving as first-level trouble shooting technical support and coordination with Technical Support to immediately respond to LS issues, and securing LS equipment at the end of class meetings Ensure that building rules are abided by UMGC students and that all UMGC labs/rooms are clean and presentable Ensure that quality services are provided to all current and prospective students including being responsive to students and student issues, assisting with basic questions, and directing them to appropriate resources by maintaining general knowledge of UMGC programs to include catalog, class/term dates, and other basic information that students may ask about during breaks in class Maintain inventory and operability of live streaming equipment to ensure that assets are clean, updated, and ready for use in class, notifying Logisti...
