JOB SUMMARY: Must be available to work on either/or Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, from 9 AM - 5 PM. This work-study can work a four hour block of time, anytime between 9 AM and 5 PM. These workers may be called upon for a variety of tasks including: Answering the phone, typing, going on errands, stamping new books, sitting at the circulation desk, putting books in order on library cart for shelving. The supervisor may give specific duties which must be reported back after completion. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Day-time Library Services Worker is a work-study employee who works a four-hour block of time weekdays any time between 9 AM and 5 PM. Upon arriving, the Day-Time Worker on Monday will begin by reading the shelves in the Reference Section of the Reading Room. See above in the description of the duties for the Evening Shelving Worker what "reading the shelves" means. The Worker on Tuesday will "read the shelves" in the section with books whose alpha-numeric label begins with the letters BX (dogmatic and moral theology, canon law).
