Competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. Competently performs stereotactic procedures and/or performs QC related to mammography including required documentation. Performs all types of mammography imaging to include needle localization, lymph node injections and ductograms. May assist physician with biopsy and aspiration procedures, practicing sterile technique as required. Sets up sterile trays with all supplies and instruments required for procedures.
