Valiant is looking for a Medium Truck Driver to join our Team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operates vehicles with trailers to transport personnel and cargo over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements. - Loads and secures cargo ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and vehicle capability. - Performs operator level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles (includes tow vehicle and trailer) and equipment. - Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed. - Must be able to comprehend detailed instructions and be at the pick-up or drop-off sites at the specified times given. - Required to navigate either assisted with a GPS or unassisted using a road map, aerial photos, or a 1/50000 square military map and protractor to plot specific grids given. - Required to operate the assigned vehicle in a safe manner over various road conditions to include unimproved roadways in restricted terrain. - Frequently uses mobile radio communications. - Other duties as assigned.
