Production Manager - 2nd Shift

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Directs, plans, and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s), and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Ensure successful start-up of new products, product improvement, cost reduction, and new or modified production lines through collaboration with stakeholders. - Develop and manage production schedule, ensuring timely delivery and effective follow-up for all orders. - Identify areas for improvement and best practices to implement to improve efficiency and output. - Act as the liaison between Sales and Production facility to ensure orders get produced and delivered in timely, cost effective manner. - Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, and productivity. - Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performa...
