Job description

Position Summary The Dual Enrollment Physics Teacher plans, organizes, and implements a rigorous college-level instructional program in a secondary learning environment that prepares and challenges scholars to meet the academic expectations of both the high school and partnering post-secondary institution. This position is responsible for delivering Physics coursework that satisfies dual enrollment articulation agreements and applicable college or university curriculum standards. Work is performed under the supervision of the Principal and in coordination with the designated higher education partner institution. Duties & Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to both state high school science standards and the partnering college or university's Physics course curriculum requirements. - Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and syllabi in accordance with dual enrollment articulation agreements and established school procedures. - Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials, laboratory equipment, and safety protocols appropriate to college-level Physics coursework. - Use relevant technology to s...
