Description RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Special Assets Officer position in the Washington, DC, area. The Special Assets Officer will support the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF). Responsibilities: - Identifying and analyzing project risks, conducting due diligence, identifying and analyzing alternative options to maximize recovery on troubled loans, and designing, implementing, and monitoring recovery plans - Leads coordination with other teams (e.g., legal, technical) as well as project advisors who will be providing input and support with respect to the troubled loan to determine underlying causal factors and identify options for remediation - Leads analysis, develops presentations, and delivers recommendations to Client management and external stakeholders - Leads and manages the implementation of remediation plans, which may include loan restructuring, loan sale, foreclosure, or bankruptcy proceedings - Provides consultative support in performing loans to mitigate credit deterioration proactively.
