Job description

The Logistics & Transportation Manager serves as the operational right hand to the Head of Operational Logistics operating across US and Mexico. The role provides direct management support to the transportation and logistics team while driving cost saving initiatives, process optimization, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidates brings a strong foundation in domestic transportation combined with a process-oriented mindset and the leadership maturity to build team culture, enforce accountability and own results. Your Responsibilities: - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. - Oversee daily domestic LTL, FTL, and parcel carrier operations, including issue resolution, refusals, damages, and rescheduling. - Demonstrated knowledge of domestic LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping, including carrier management and rate negotiation - Own relationships with key carrier partners including UPS and contracted freight carriers; identify opportunities to test and onboard alternative carriers for cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. - Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual communication volume. - Mo...
