Facilities Attendant

Job description

Role Under close supervision, cleans and maintains the facilities and the yard in accordance with company, City, State, and Safety requirements. Shift will be Monday-Friday, 3:30PM - 12:00AM - subject to change given special tasks. Essential Responsibilities: - Understands all safety programs and performs all work in accordance with company policies and standards. - Keeps all areas free of debris and hazards. - Performs weekly and monthly facility inspections. - Conducts daily tank inspections. Ensures Hazardous Waste Labels are in place and current. - Performs scheduled preventative maintenance by steam cleaning and performing minor repairs to company and customer owned compactors. - Ensures wash racks are clean and free of debris, inspects for damaged cleaning equipment (i.e. pressure wash hoses, guns etc.). - Provides shop support, deliver/pick up parts and equipment from vendors and power wash parts for mechanics. - Responds to oil spills in accordance to local enforcement agency standards and assist with clean up both at the facility and in the field. - Drives Commercial truck, removes and properly disposes of materials in secondary containment pallets. - Organizes equipment a...
