Description: Working as a member of a highly collaborative team, the Director of Community Engagement at Juilliard is responsible for providing leadership and administrative direction for an office that supports college students who are learning to bring community engagement into their professional artistic practice. A person who will be successful in this position should have a strong track record of success in arts education or arts administration, be an effective public speaker and presenter, and be adept at approaching programming through a student development lens. This office administers six (6) teaching and performance Fellowships (120-150 Fellowship awards annually) and public-facing educational events in collaboration with multiple artistic and administrative departments at Juilliard (Relaxed Performances, Young People’s Concert series, Community Dance Concerts, Experience Juilliard).
