Schedule Tues, Thurs and Friday weekly. Orientation: For the first 6-8 weeks the training is full time the orientee will work either 5/8-hour shifts (6:30am- 3:00pm) or 4/10-hour shifts (6:30am- 4:30pm). About this unit: The Helen DeVos Children's Surgery department completes over 8000 cases per year. It has 8 operating rooms including one with a fully integrated iMRI suite. HDVCH surgery is verified as a Level 1 Children's Surgery site through the American College of Surgeons. Our unit is staffed 24/7 with a team of RN’s and Surgical Technologists. Our physician teams consist of all pediatric certified Surgeons and Anesthesiologists.
