Overview We are seeking to fill the role of Assumption Loan Processor. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with clients, industry partners and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners. Responsibilities: - Review loan documents to determine if loan is assumable. - Prepare and distribute approval and denial letters. - Prepare and distribute assumption packages. - Receive assumption packages and log according to department procedures. - Inspect file documents to ensure completeness and contact borrowers/applicants to obtain missing documents. - Obtain relevant documents from applicant(s) and submit request for mortgage insurance approval. - Upload loan documents to vendor website. - Upload and report documents from completed assumptions to government agencies (FHA, VA, USDA, etc.). - Make system changes to reflect new borrower (s) MERs and generate SNOW tickets. - Pull CAIVRS and OFAC reports. - Pull credit reports, and prepare Verifications of Employment and Verifications of Mortgage. - Review Trusts & LLCs to ensure they meet agency guidelines. - Follow procedures to ensure compliance with internal business standards and applicable federal, state, local or other regul...
