Description At the Embassy Suites Springfield, we are hiring a dual position: Houseperson/Security. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel and ensuring the safety of all guests and team members through ongoing surveillance of all areas of the hotel. This position includes: This position may require flexible scheduling availability. - Three shifts scheduled from 9:00AM-5:00PM - pay during these shifts are $16.00/hour - Two shifts scheduled from 11:00PM-7:00AM - pay during these shifts are $17.00/hour Requirements: Job Requirements: - Upkeep the public areas - Assisting with Housekeeping as much as needed by providing basic housekeeping duties (changing the sheets, changing and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guest check out) - Ongoing involvement in preventative maintenance programs - Recognize and report potential safety hazards (broken doors or railings, fire hazards, etc.) and notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances - Maintaining shelf organization in the storerooms and replenishing supplie...
