JOB DETAILS: Shift 1st/Day Shift Location On-Site Schedule Schedule to be provided by leader Salary Range $20.05 - $23.30 Per Hour JOB SUMMARY: An entry level lab position where the technician will be mentored and taught all aspects of the lab process to enable them to perform effectively and efficiently to meet client needs for fluid sample results and data. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Ensure current procedures and process controls are followed on a daily basis. - Receive, log, and prepare fluid samples. - Ensure test tubes are racked in proper order corresponding to sample log. - Test samples for contamination, soot, oxidation, nitration and sulfur products. - Analyze large particles found in oil. - Dilute samples. - Perform constant temp viscosity tests. - Learn and understand ISO standards as they relate to the lab and assist as needed with ISO certification. - Maintain and ensure that all housekeeping and contamination control procedures implemented are followed. - Actively participate and aid others in projects assigned. - Work safely at all times.
